Meet Logan, The Guy Who Grinds Every Moncton Stump Himself
Steeves Stump Services is Logan Steeves, born and raised in Riverview. It started on the drive home from work. A neighbour was wheeling a stump grinder down to the end of his driveway with a For Sale sign on it, and Logan stopped to ask what it was. He got home, thought about it for about a minute, then walked back down the street and said he would take it.
Almost 100 jobs later, he is still at it. He has learned something on every one of them, upgraded the machine, and gone from turning down the big stumps to renting bigger equipment when a job calls for it.
When you text, you get Logan. Same guy who shows up in your yard. You get the price up front, the day we said, and a clean yard when we leave. If something is not right, one call and we come back.

Yes. We grind it out deep enough that once you top the hole with soil you can plant grass, lay sod, put in a flower bed, or set a shed or patio right over it.
Do you take down trees too?
No, we stick to stumps. If you need the tree taken down first, call us anyway and we will point you to someone good.
Do you grind stumps in the winter?
Yes, as long as the ground is not frozen hard or under deep snow. Late fall and early spring are our quiet weeks, so it is a good time to book.
